The Bees of the Alps

Born from a great passion, "Le Api delle Alpi" does not have a long history behind it: it is a small business located in Donnàs, under the cool mountains of the Aosta Valley. The company was founded in 2016 by Mattia Fragiacomo, a young beekeeper. But the results already obtained by this laboratory of delicacies and sweets, such as the first prize in 2019 at the National Competition "L'ape d'oro" of the city of Lazise, ​​have shown that even today it is possible to create a company capable of be her, one day, the progenitor of a tradition. Breeding exclusively through natural and bioethical processes, Mattia carries out all his operations by hand and in full respect of bees, in order not to alter the nutritional and beneficial properties of the products. Furthermore, one of his distinctive traits is the practice of nomadism: Mattia himself takes care of moving his hives, currently about ninety, following the natural cycles of the seasons. This guarantees him to obtain honey, pollen and propolis of the highest quality, free from polluting materials.

All products made by Mattia are synonymous with craftsmanship, quality and nature. You will not find a product equal to the other, in a jar of "Millefiori Honey" it will be possible for you to smell the aromas of the Aosta Valley arnica or a precious rhododendron. In order not to be mistaken, you will find below the properties of the individual products which, being limited edition due to their exclusivity, are all the result of the vintage.
