This is our sweet and sour sauce, prepared with our Aosta Valley apples. To make this sauce so special, we used only the best "Golden Delicious" apples, which are among the most popular and appreciated by consumers. The name itself explains the main characteristics: the pulp is fragrant, sweet, simply delicious, the skin has a beautiful yellow color, tending to golden, the result of exposure to the sun, a characteristic present especially in apples from our valleys. The rich sugar content makes it one of children’s favorite fruits and is ideal as an ingredient for the preparation of cakes and tarts. It is also the fruit that preserves, in every season, its original freshness, because it ages very slowly and has the ability to maintain, almost until the end, its healthy principles. In our alpine region, the apple reaches an excellent ripeness, without running great risks of disease. Low rainfall also contributes to the success of the final product. It is therefore a healthy fruit, which does not undergo all the anticritogramic treatments needed in other areas.
