The Fontina D.O.P. mountain pasture is a very special cheese that is produced in the summer months, when the cows are grazing in the pasture. The fragrances and flavours of Alpine herbs and the open-air life of cows give milk, and hence Fontina, a special flavour of excellent quality. Alpenzu with this Fontina D.O.P. has created a high quality fondue, which you can find only for a limited period of the year.
