The Roma variety is a long grain rice, semi-tapered, pearly.

It has low cooking times, which do not affect its versatility in the kitchen: from the long and fullbodied grain, Roma can be used for risotto, given its optimal ability to absorb ingredients, for rice in white or sauce or for flans and timbales.




Historical variety of the Italian rice production, Roma is often compared, seen the similar characteristics, to Baldo, from which it differs, however, for the pearly grain.
