Honey of Linden Bio

Characteristics:

  • Consistency: linden honey crystallizes a few months after harvest, for this reason it is rarely possible to taste it from liquid. Symptom of quality, the grainy texture of this product, gives a compact, homogeneous and pasty sensation to the palate.
  • Colour: Linden honey has a very pale ivory colour, with mother-of-pearl aquai when crystallized. In the liquid phase it gives amber tones in soft beige directions.
  • Flavour: as if to remember the passage in a central nave of a church, linden honey gives a soul of incense and a prestigious meeting with a touch of resin. A surprising mentholate note is released in the mouth when tasted, as if to tie a woody nuance to a refreshing taste. The best experts define the taste of this honey as aromatic camphor, fresh and mentholated.
  • Aroma: to reflect the aroma and taste, the aroma of this product is a minty and refreshing wind that gives the palate an intense aftertaste, similar to the tone of a bitter table.

Our organic linden honey is harvested in June and July in Piedmont and Emila Romagna. This variety of trees, often close to chestnuts and beeches, gives an intense scent to the areas of collection and the bees are attracted by the tasty nectar.

Linden honey is an excellent partner for fresh drinks made from aromatic herbs, bitter-flavoured herbal teas and preparations of dishes based on matured or marinated meat.
