Bonarda Piemonte Sernù.
The winery is located in the lower Monferrato, between Castelnuovo Don Bosco and Albugnano, on
a ridge of hills of white earth, for centuries cultivated as a vineyard. Composed of a historic
building of 1700 is managed since 1983 by Gianni Vergnano. Years of careful and passionate work
have made it possible to give new value to an extremely interesting terroir and to historical vines
such as Malvasia di Schierano and Freisa, of which an aged version is proposed that has received
numerous re-knowledge. The key role of Cascina Gilli in preserving and passing on its territory and
the constant quality of its products is worth the inclusion in the catalog.
