This wine characterized by a ruby red with purple reflections, comes from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The fermentation takes place in steel, to immediately enhance the notes young and fresh, but then is aged for a few months in small oak barrels to give it the roundness it deserves.
The fruity aroma of raspberry and cherry, with spicy hints of vanilla and cloves, reflects the taste of finely almond and berries.

Picotendro (from the dialect "small and tender berry") is the name with which Nebbiolo is designated to Donnas, as is attested by documents dating back to 1500. It is a high quality wine made from grapes grown in terraced vineyards cultivated with pergola that characterize the steep slopes of the mountain.
A pleasant wine to pair with tasty soups, intense, vegetables or bitter vegetables. It also goes well with pork, on which you can pour a light thread for a special marinade.
