This heavenly "hell" was born in the homonymous Enfer d’Arvier, by the vignerons members of the Cooperative Coenfer. It shows an intense red, full-bodied and structured, with a beautiful intense ruby color. The nose is fine, delicate, with a nice sensation of ripe fruit under spirit, which is also found in the mouth. The perfect acidity is well harmonized with the strong structure and with tertiary notes of vanilla, white pepper, cinnamon and cloves. The finish is long and well balanced. with spicy and balsamic aromas, a wine of admirable typicality, which encloses and expresses the severe beauty of its homeland.

In these places, so difficult and magnificent that make the viticulture really "heroic", incredibly welcoming for the cultivation of the vine, is born the Enfer d'Arvier, obtained from grapes Petit Rouge vinified alone: we are in the narrow valley of Arvier, between Aosta and Courmayeur: here the vineyards, all certified organic, are located on rough terrain, where the water is scarce and the summer heat abounds, because of the southern exposure and the generous sun.
Vinification: harvest at the end of October, destemming and soft pressing, use of indigenous yeasts, fermentation in steel at controlled temperature; post-fermentation maceration for up to 70 days, spontaneous malolactic fermentation in contact with and skins, racking and soft pressing, maturation in French tonneaux of several steps for at least six months; filtration and clarification only with bentonite, aging in bottle for at least six months
