Pinoit noir d.o.p. is produced in purity from the homonymous grape variety and has a pale ruby red color with cherry reflections. Its aroma is intense and persistent, fruity, with hints of blackberry and black cherry, sometimes with flavors of gourdon and spices. The taste is very balanced, warm and soft, with a fairly pronounced tannic finish.
Excellent as an accompaniment to red meats and typical Valdostan cold cuts..
