Semolino Fritto

Semolino Fritto: still called by a few "fritura or polenta Dusa", is definitely a sweet fried mixed Piedmontese that all gourmets know.

The milk, sugar and semolina (which are among the main ingredients) are mixed in a liquid and homogeneous compound that is cooked in the oven. When the product is cooled and solidified this will be cut into parallelepiped-shaped parts.

The final step is the breading of each semolina and its frying in oil. These last steps are delicate and fundamental to ensure the crunchiness of the product once heated at home in the traditional oven.
