Nebbiolo Picotendro is mainly used, even if we wanted to enhance our other historic vines, present in small percentages in these Vineyards: the Neyret and Freisa.Before marketing, it is aged for at least 12 months in large oak barrels.
It has a ruby red color tending to light garnet. The nose has hints of berries, with a finely almond finish. The mouthfeel is velvety, with good freshness and a return of almond aroma in the persistent finish.

Produced on the rocky coasts of the municipalities of Donnas, Pont-Saint-Martin, Perloz and Bard, is the product that distinguishes the production of the Caves.
It has been known and appreciated for centuries, with historical evidence dating back to 1200 and was the first D.O.C. of the Aosta Valley (1971).
It goes well with traditional dishes of the Valle d'Aosta, with preference for red meats, perhaps cooked in the long run.
